The Division of Epidemiology at the University of Utah is seeking a faculty member to carry out first-rate research while promoting and facilitating collaborative studies in epidemiology, health services research, informatics and/or simulation modeling. A multitude of opportunities for collaborative research exist in areas such as epidemiology of chronic diseases, clinical and population health decision support systems, computer-based prediction modeling, and data science at the University of Utah and Salt Lake City Veterans Health Care System. We are especially interested in applicants who have a research focus in informal caregiving and outcomes for caregivers and patients with chronic disease. To be considered applicants must possess an MD or PhD or PharmD in related discipline, currently have secured independent funding, demonstrate authorship, have 3 years of experience or training in a related discipline and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
