Job Summary

The program facilitator will assist K-5 students Monday-Thursday in out of school programming, reading practice, field trip monitoring, comprehension and other enrichment activities as assigned. This is a temporary position that will work June 7th through July 12th.

Responsibilities

● Manage 15-30 elementary age students

● Build an authentic relationship with all participating youth

● Support participating youth academically with tutoring, reading comprehension, assistance with computer based programs, and STEAM related activities

● Support students with behavior management, and positive reinforcement

Minimum Qualifications

This is an entry-level position. Training will be provided. Must demonstrate an interest in learning about child development and guidance; a willingness to take direction from the assigned teacher; willing to obtain a food handlers permit, TB test, Bureau of Criminal Investigation ( BCI ) background check, first aid training are required. Demonstrated human relation and effective human relations skills are also required.
