University of Utah Health Director of Clinical Operations - HMHI Crisis Care Center in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

Overview

The Huntsman Mental Health Institute (HMHI) and University of Utah Health are seeking a new Operations Director for the upcoming Crisis Care Center in South Salt Lake!

This position directs the planning, organizing, directing, and controlling of all internal operations of assigned clinical departments. This includes the planning and business objectives, budgetary information, human resource and financial management operations of assigned departments. The incumbent acts as a catalyst between the department and its customers, and staff, to ensure continuity and quality of service and care.

This position may be required to access and administer medications within their scope of practice and according to State Law.

The Crisis Care Center is set to open in late 2023. Our new 52,000 square-foot-building will treat up to 30 people needing short-term stabilization care — like those who find themselves in the midst of a mental crisis. It also includes a 24-bed inpatient facility for those needing long-term care.

Plans call for the 9-acre area to eventually become a campus, called the Campus of Hope, dedicated to mental health research and care.
