Job Summary

Supports fund-raising activities within the David Eccles School of Business

Responsibilities

The incumbent in this position will be responsible for making direct solicitations to alumni, friends, foundations and companies on behalf of the David Eccles School of Business.

This person will work on securing sponsorships for a variety of events and support the School’s overall campaign. Duties include: research potential donors, create donor strategies and make solicitations.

Track and maintain donor records and relationships.

Work effectively in a highly motivated team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalency; and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required. Experience which includes fundraising, grant and publication writing, planning and implementing special events and programs and a successful track record in raising donations is preferred.

Preferences

Experience with Excel, Word and database management preferred.
