Job Summary

The Youth Lab in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism is looking for a work study lab assistant for data entry over the summer. Hours and work schedule are flexible.

Applicants will be assisting professors and other research staff on various projects related to the impact of summer camp. Work is performed under the close supervision of senior laboratory personnel. This is a great opportunity to learn about social science research and contribute to an exciting multi-year project. Applicants need to be reliable, trustworthy, and can work independently once trained.

Prepares, verifies and enters data into computerized information systems

Responsibilities

1. Entering paper surveys into a computer

2. Transcribing and coding research interviews.

3. Other duties as assigned.

Typing proficiency and/or data entry experience required. Data will primary be entered into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or Word document. The hiring department may require a minimum typing ability.
