This position assists in the scheduling, tracking, collecting and overall management of COVID -19 specific testing, collected at various sites across University of Utah Health Clinics. The incumbent maintains adequate knowledge for administering and implementing each unique test.
This position will require EPIC knowledge and training specific to accessing, labeling, and monitoring personal health information.

- Ability to interact with EPIC to ensure appropriate labeling, monitoring, scheduling, and administering of all Covid-19 test related components.
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge on proper techniques and processes for various Covid-19 tests.
- Maintains ability to properly interact within EPIC to ensure compliance, efficiency, and accuracy for job related duties.
- Instructs patients on appropriate Covid-19 test specific practices.
- Understands, monitors, and helps resolve scheduling conflicts and opportunities.
- Problem Solving.
Work Environment and Level of Frequency that may be required: Nearly Continuously: Standing, testing tent environment. Outdoors.
Physical Requirements and Level of Frequency that may be required. Nearly Continuously: Standing, Bending, reaching, hearing, listening, talking Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), walking.
Incumbent faces exposure to potentially dangerous contaminated bodily fluids, blood, and other contaminants as part of the daily hazards of the job. The physical demand of being on your feet for long periods of time and handling equipment are common elements of the job.
The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned location.
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider card through American Heart Association or obtain within one month of hire
