Job Summary

Assists with the coordination and implementation of activities forKUEDeducational programs and events. Includes administrative duties.

Responsibilities

Assist with the coordination and implementation of activities for educational programs and events.

Assists Education Coordinator with Ready to Learn activities:

• Attend meetings for Ready To Learn projects and take notes

• Coordinate and communicate with community partners

• Manage Ready To Learn supplies: order materials, organize supplies, and prep for events and activities

• Support Ready To Learn events in the community: Help with event setup and tear-down, representKUEDat events, run activities, and engage parents and children

• Keep track of and enter data from events for reporting purposes

• Other administrative and clerical duties to support the Education Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications

One year experience or experience working with and organizing events, social schedules, conferences, etc., or equivalency; demonstrated human relations and communication skills; and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required. 45 wpm typing may be required in some departments. Accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred.

Four years administrative/business experience or experience working with and

organizing events, social schedules, conferences, etc., or equivalency.

Education, community, or outreach experience. Knowledge of word processing

and spreadsheet software. Strong organizational skills. Strong human relations

skills. Self-starter. Web and social media skills. Writing, editing, and

proofreading skills.
