Job Summary

The Resiliency Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of part time Project Coordinator. The Resiliency Center is designed to enhance resilience and coordinate wellness efforts among all faculty and staff within University of Utah Health. The Resiliency Center is currently focusing efforts on creating and strengthening four programmatic pillars, which include personal resilience, system resilience, support and discovery. The Project Coordinator will report to the Program Operations Manager and work with the entire Resiliency Center team in all four pillar areas to coordinate classes, projects and trainings, develop marketing content and provide general administrative support.

Responsibilities

1.Assists with program planning and implementation.

2.Compiles, sorts, and organizes data for entry into a database, distributes program information, and conducts program research.

3.Answers telephones and gives information to callers, takes messages, or transfers calls to appropriate individuals.

4.Assist in the management of Resiliency Center website and e-mail and phone inquiries

5.Greets visitors and communicates with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints.

6.Responds to queries from and coordinates activities with other departments, the community, and program partners.

7.Assists in the creation and distribution of program materials, website content, forms, and general correspondence.

8.May track and report on current trends to determine future program needs.

9.May provide program specific training.

10.Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Six years related experience or equivalency (1 year of college education is equivalent to 2 years of related work experience). Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required. Bachelor’s degree in a related area is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

•Associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalency, plus two years of related experience required; ability to use logic and reasoning to prioritize tasks; computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet software, and/or database software preferred; demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.

•Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be preferred.

•Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

Preferences

•CurrentMHAstudent or junior, senior level student interested in pursuing Healthcare Administration

•Experience using survey design tools such as Survey Monkey or RedCap

•Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or human resources

•Experience working in healthcare, an academic setting, or a similar environment

•Demonstrated knowledge of resilience and wellness concepts

•Ability to effectively use MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

•Ability to work independently, manage time and prioritize multiple tasks.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain working relationships with a variety of individuals, which include faculty and staff, and professionals from other institutions and professional associations.

•Highly developed sense of empathy and humor
