Pay Rate Range $14.50-$17.50/hr
Oversees the procedural matters related to an ongoing project or program in an assigned area.
Provides administrative support to senior department personnel.
Strict adherence to 20 hrs/week. Some flexibility available. This is not a long-term position, up 12 months maximum.
Plans and implements procedural changes/modifications for the financial aspect of research projects.
Monitors expenditures to ensure compliance within prescribed budget parameters.
Assist with, research materials, and outreach publications.
Starts & follows-up on Human Resources items – including Visa documents for international employees.
Maintains/manage project and activity records, lists or files. Prepares related reports and performs evaluation of project effectiveness.
May provide minor computer/equipment support for departmental/project objectives and determine appropriate software needs..

Six years related experience or equivalency (1 year of college education is equivalent to 2 years of related work experience). Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required. Bachelor’s degree in a related area is preferred.

Three years related experience or equivalency (1 year of college education is equivalent to 2 years or related work experience).
Demonstrates good human relations,effective communication skills, patience (specifically with new international hires) and organizational skills.
