Maintains the collection, organization, cataloging, and tracking of data. Supports up-to-date entries, creates reports, communicates and collaborates with all sectors of the Institute. Provides documents and reports to both internal and external contacts as requested. Handles special projects and creates special reports as needed. Assists in high volume production and printing. Analyzes and summarizes data.
1. Enter data intoSQLdatabases and Salesforce – research projects status, staff and contacts updates
2. Complete CA Member and staff requests for library orders and assist staff and associates with literature searches, inter-library loans, online searches.
3. Medium to large volume printing, production, and binding of final reports/meetings/promotional material with compressed timelines. Mail and track final versions of reports and all distributed material.
4. Geo-referencing locations such as wells, seismic, maps, and reports for EGIconnect.
5. Cataloging materials submitted to the library and materials waiting to be assigned database references.
6. Ensures the accuracy of data, analyzes conflicting data, and verifies/collects missing information.
7. Utilizes computer programs/software to analyze data; determines trends and changes in data.
8. Develops and presents recommendations for a course of action based on the analysis of data.
9. Handles special projects and creates special reports as needed.
10. May perform supervisory duties.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). Two years experience in collecting, organizing analyzing, and presenting data; and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.

Problem-Solving ability to investigate solutions to resolve problems as they arise.
Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills to maintain integrated databases and online systems to ensure correct storage, recording, tracking, access, and to recognize incomplete entries.
Communication with: Geomatics, Software Developers, Accounting, IT, Informatics, Research Staff, and Corporate Members. Being a team player and working well with others is strongly preferred.
