The University of Utah’s National Center for Veterans Studies and Department of Psychology invites applications for a computer technician on a 3-year project funded by The Boeing Company. The primary aims of this project are to provide empirically supported treatments to service members and veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and training licensed mental health professionals in crisis response planning for suicide prevention.
Primary duties of the computer technician will be to design, create, and maintain websites and printed recruitment materials for the project, to develop and maintain databases, and to provide other technical support. The successful applicant will communicate with employees, volunteers, students, and military personnel and veterans both within and external to the National Center for Veterans Studies, and will serve as a help desk resource for assigned areas within the National Center for Veterans Studies.

Associate’s degree in a computer related field and two years of experience or equivalency recommended. Demonstrated computer skills, human relations and effective communication skills are required.
