Job Summary
College advisers seek to help more Utah students attend college. Recent college graduates will serve as college access advisers in selected public secondary institutions throughout the state. Working alongside school staff, and advisers will assist students with navigating the college admissions process. This includes, but is not limited to, admissions applications, financial aid forms and scholarship applications, and college entrance examination registration and preparation.
This posting is for all schools. Please include your regional preference.
This position may also be eligible for an AmeriCorps Education Award.
This position is on an approx. A 10-month contract that begins August 7, 2023 , and ends May 31, 2024 (the end date is subject to change and may be earlier depending on the last day of school).

Responsibilities
The college access adviser assists Utah high school students in realizing their post-secondary dreams by advising students with college admissions, financial aid, and scholarship applications; coordinating information with high school staff at the student’s school. Responsibilities include:
