As University Medical Billing’s Courier; you will be given the opportunity to work in a fast paced environment. The incumbent will be expected to perform a variety of tasks in and outside of the office to assist and aid in the billing process. Daily functions may include prolonged periods of: walking, standing, bending or driving. Come work in an office with a leadership team who promotes personal and professional growth. University Medical Billing is the premier professional billing office at the University of Utah.
1.Deliver and pick-up billing items from various offices on and off campus
2.Respond and complete requested inquiries emailed to theUMBCourier Outlook Resource within one business day
3.Prepare and mail medical claims by payer within one business day
4.Perform other supports tasks: document scanning, prepare and mail refund checks, special projects as assigned by supervisor
5.Update any changes or additional details required to the courier route procedure in OneNote
6.Coordinate and schedule routine car maintenance with the Department of Motor Pool
