Part-time camera operator and administrative support for the Video Services division in Teaching & Learning Technologies.

University Information Technology, the central IT service provider for campus, reports to the Chief Information Officer and is responsible for many of the University of Utah’s most critical common IT resources including the campus network; the Campus Information Services (CIS) portal; UMail, telephone, and online collaboration services; high performance and research computing; information security; teaching and learning technologies; software licensing; and a host of other systems and applications. •Films and edits lectures, presentations, traditional courses, and special projects using digital and analog acquisition methods.
•Works as a technical facilitator for distance learning courses and interactive video conferences originating on the University of Utah campus.
•Provides customer services to faculty, students, and staff.

One year of computer operations experience or equivalency required; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required. Previous customer service experience is preferred.
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Video capture, video production, editing, and customer service experience preferred.
Audio-visual technical aptitude, knowledge of media-production, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. are preferred. A valid Utah Driver’s License at time of hire.
