Job Summary

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies.


oAnalyzes, defines scope and objectives, and documents requirements/technical specifications for Advancement CRM configuration and reporting requests so they can be completed by technical staff.

oProactively identifies Advancement business operations gaps and documents requirements/technical specifications of solutions to address them.

oFocuses on identifying, documenting requirements/technical specifications, and supplying Advancement community with accessible, actionable analytics to make data-driven business decisions.

oManages complex interdepartmental projects seeing them to completion.

oBridges the communication gap between business and technical staff coordinating heavily with both.

oEnsures projects align with overall business strategies as set by Advancement leadership.

oDocuments existing Advancement business processes, procedures, and business rules to improve and maintain institutional knowledge.

oServes periodically as a proxy to the Director of Information Services in campus strategy meetings.

Minimum Qualifications

Requires an associate’s degree in a related area and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with relational database concepts, and client-server concepts.

Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.

oExperience working with CRMs

oExtensive experience with Microsoft Office, particularly, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

oAbility to come up with creative solutions to office systems problems


oExperience using Salesforce

oExperience using UC Innovation ascend

oExperience using Tableau

oExperience using Ellucian Advance Web
