Reporting to the Director of Annual Campaigns, the Associate Director of Annual Giving, Data and Operations will be a critical member of the Health Annual Giving team. This person will provide project management support of health academic area, clinical area, and health system wide solicitation plans to patients, donors, alumni, and community members. They will help develop an encompassing engagement/solicitation strategy and oversee solicitation data requests, tracking and results reporting in collaboration with the Director of Annual Campaigns.

They will play the lead role in preparing data sets for solicitations, segmenting and targeting, and liaising with our annual giving vendor to maintain giving and stewardship reports. They will work collaboratively with the Annual Giving Digital Communications Manager to execute digital appeals, anniversary appeals, and digital stewardship efforts.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Data reporting and constituent analysis on all annual giving campaigns
  • Liaison with reporting and gift matching processes with vendor and the Director of Annual Campaigns
  • Liaison with advancement services on data requests, gift reporting, data integrity, online giving, and crowdfunding
  • Basic graphic design, and curation of digital, photo, and video assets for appeals and communications
  • Maintaining data integrity of our constituents in Unite CRM platform

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Public Administration, a related area, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required; plus six years of progressively more responsible management experience; and demonstrated leadership, human relations and effective communication skills also required. Master’s degree in Business Administration or related area preferred.

This position is not responsible for providing patient care.

Preferences

Department qualification Preferences:

Three years of fund-raising experience which includes direct solicitation of contributions, volunteer leadership support, written and verbal presentations, and strategy and market development are required. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.

Experience working with vendors preferred. Data analysis and demonstrated proficiency with CRMs, project management and editing and digital tools preferred.
