Details
Care, Imaging and Research and the Division of Cognitive Neurology, in the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah. We are seeking two neurologists to join our dynamic, innovative and growing multidisciplinary clinical and research team, which includes cognitive neurologists, neuropsychologists, a geriatric psychiatrist, an advanced practice nurse, health educators, family support advisors and other dedicated professionals. In addition to clinical care and teaching, one neurologist will join on our active imaging and clinical trials and the other will lead an independent basic science research program. Academic rank and track are dependent on applicant qualifications.
We are the only academic specialty clinic in the Intermountain West providing integrated cognitive evaluations. We have a strong infrastructure for clinical trials at one of the few institutions in the NIH -funded NeuroNext, StrokeNet, and Alzheimer’s Disease Cooperative Study. Fundamental research will be part of the institution’s new Neuroscience Initiative. We are located in beautiful Salt Lake City, which offers outstanding year-round outdoor recreation and cultural activities and is widely recognized for having one of the best economic outlooks in the nation coupled with a low cost of living.
