Clinical / Academic Faculty Neuropsychologist: The Department of Neurology is recruiting a full-time tenure-track faculty neuropsychologist to conduct clinically-focused research, provide service, and assist in the coordination and delivery of neuropsychological services in the Center for Alzheimer’s Care, Imaging and Research and the Cognitive Disorders Program at the University of Utah Hospital and Clinics. Applicants should have an established body of research and success obtaining extramural grant funding. There are abundant opportunities for collaboration (e.g., neuroimaging, genetics, informatics), as well as to tap into our strong infrastructure for clinical trials (e.g., NIH -funded NeuroNext, StrokeNet, Alzheimer’s Disease Cooperative Study). A commitment to patient care is also essential, including experience with neurodegenerative and aging populations. Collaboration with other neuropsychologists in the Neurology Department and at the University of Utah is expected, as is engagement in a long-standing industry-sponsored clinical trials program. There also will be opportunities for the teaching and supervision of technicians, practicum students, residents, and fellows. Applicants must have a PhD and have completed an APA -approved clinical internship and a post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. Applicants are expected to become licensed in Utah, and should be ABPP board-certified or board-eligible in clinical neuropsychology. The position is in the Tenure Track and the rank is open within the Department of Neurology at the University of Utah School of Medicine.
