Non-tenure track CAREER - LINE Faculty Position in Organizational Studies: The Department of Management at the David Eccles School of Business of the University of Utah (eccles.utah.edu/) seeks to fill a career-line position in organizational studies in August 2021, contingent on funding. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in organizational behavior or a related field, or show evidence of an earned doctorate by August 1, 2021. Candidates for a position at the assistant or associate professor rank are invited to apply. We are seeking individuals with a strong interest in teaching both undergraduates and graduate students. Evidence of teaching success, especially with students from diverse backgrounds, is a strong advantage. A record of scholarship and publishing is a plus, as is experience in business or other organizations. The Management Department tenure-track faculty includes Bryan Bonner, Kristina Diekmann, Jesse Graham, Glen Kreiner, Kylie Rochford, Harris Sondak, Amelia Stillwell, David Tannenbaum, and Elizabeth Tenney. The Management Department also has three groups of career-line faculty. Our communications group includes Kathryn Cañas, Jennifer Cummings, Stacey Overholt, Aaron Phillips, Georgi Rausch, and Jessie Richards; our business and liberal education group includes Mark Crowley and Derek Hoff; and our organizational studies group includes Ariel Blair and Lindsey Gibson. The faculty has expertise in a broad range of organizationally relevant topics, including ethical decision making, organizational justice, diversity and prejudice at work, identity processes, individual and group decision making, negotiations, intra-group conflict, and interpersonal and business communication. Our faculty are known for their research and teaching excellence. The Management Department has a robust doctoral program and currently includes twelve students.

The David Eccles School of Business offers degree programs at the undergraduate, masters, executive, and doctoral levels, and teaching opportunities are available in various programs. The Management Department also offers courses in our non-degree executive education program.
