Coordinates and administers assessments within the School of Medicine (SOM). Works with individual units to ensure effective and efficient delivery of quizzes and exams and supports the development of new methods of assessments. Oversees theSOMproctoring program to ensure that quizzes and exams are properly issued to students and appropriately monitored.
1.Support testing and proctoring program for medical students as follows:
a.Manage proctors across 3 phases of the curriculum to equally distribute hours worked/offered.
b.Balance proctoring multiple assessments simultaneously across the phases.
c.Coordinate delivery of Foundational Science quizzes and exams (every 1 – 2 weeks),CMCYear 1 and 2 OSCEs (up to 4 times per semester),CMCYear 1 and 2 Exams (up to 4 times per semester), Phase 3 Shelf andCLIPPexams (every 4 weeks)
d.Approve time cards, and track HR hourly employee requirements.
e.Maintain exam environment with National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) standards.
2.Coordinate testing environment needs for students with accommodations, across Phases 1-3.
3.Set up Clinical Skills lab for Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), provide exam supplies for OSCEs and Shelf/CLIPPexams
4.“On call” responsibilities include: cover proctor breaks, address mid-exam technical issues and student questions, assist in starting review, as needed, assist with upload issues, as needed.
5.Support the Foundational Sciences unit in the delivery of Team-based Learning assessments and expansion of the Team-based Learning initiative.
6.Support the Clinical Methods Curriculum unit in the development of new, online assessment tools.
7.Other duties as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus one year directly related experience or equivalency required. Demonstrated ability to work independently, analyze and make decisions related to program content. Strong coordination and organizational skills required to prioritize conflicting deadlines. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
