The Division of Allergy and Immunology at the University of Utah is recruiting for an Allergist/Immunologist. The Allergist/Immunologist will provide clinical care to both Pediatric and Adult patients with Allergic and Immunologic diseases, including patients with complex and chronic diseases, and challenging allergic and immunologic disorders such as food allergy, severe atopic skin disease and primary immune deficiency disorders. Clinical activities will be carried out at the University Health Clinics and Primary Children’s Medical Center ambulatory and inpatient sites. In addition to clinical service and teaching, there is an expectation for academic work, including investigation, administration as well as advocacy.
Opportunities exist to conduct research in a variety of areas including clinical and translational research, education, outcomes/quality improvement, and medical informatics. There is infrastructure and support for clinical and translational research both within the Division and within the Department of Pediatrics.
Qualified candidates must be Board Qualified/Board Certified in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine, and in Allergy and Immunology. The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical Track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.
