Job Summary
The Center for Equity and Student Belonging ( CESB ) creates community and advocates for academic success and belonging for students across intersectional identities and experiences among our African, African American, Black, Native, Indigenous, American Indian, Asian, Asian American, Latinx, Chicanx, Pacific Islander, Multiracial, LGBTQ+, Neurodiverse, and BIPOC students with Disabilities. CESB’s early belonging initiative serves as the first stop for belonging at the University of Utah, builds community, and sets up students for success after college. The Center for Equity & Student Belonging and Equity Diversity and Inclusion uses a framework of belonging that places an emphasis on developing students personal, social, academic, and post-graduate belonging.

Preferences
Preference will be given to students who have experience with public speaking, working with underrepresented and first-generation students.
Experience working with diverse student populations in terms of racial/ethnic backgrounds, age, gender, LGBTQIA* status, first generation college students, ability/disability, and other historically marginalized identities.
