Job Summary

This position provides comprehensive IT service to UAC employees and students. It will serve the functions for UAC operations such as managing computer lab, purchasing electrical devices, managing IT& Electrical device inventory, etc. This position will also cooperate with other staff members at the operation team for its typical tasks.

This position is considered Category I: Mandatory and required on campus or health care facilities to support on-site operations. Employees hired into this category will be required to be physically located at the work site if they are healthy and without COVID -19 symptoms.

Responsibilities

• Computer Lab management ( 3 MS PC lab/ 2 Apple Mac lab/ 1 ECE Lab etc.)

- Software installation and update

- Back up/ Recovery management

- Problem-solving for PC hardware& software

• Purchase Electrical component and storage management for Electrical& Computer program

• IT & Electronic device inventory management ( Computers / Tablet / Laptop / IP phone/ Camera etc. )

• Electricity parts set up for necessary places

• Purchase, Install and maintain Audio& Video equipment

• Common work for Operation team ( e.g., school event support )

• Other duties as assigned by the Director of the campus operation and CAO regarding the Operation team’s duties

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in a computer related field and two years of experience or equivalency recommended. Demonstrated computer skills, human relations and effective communication skills are required.

Preferences

• A person with a Bachelor’s Degree who majored in Electronic Engineering or Computer engineering

If anyone who majored in Computer Engineering, basic knowledge should be necessary for the electric circuit and electrical components like resistance, condenser, etc.

• Preferred to a person with about two-year experience in IT area

• Ability to utilize MS Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint

• Be fluent in speaking& writing for Korean and English language

• Ability to work with a different team member as well as a Campus Operation team member efficiently and smoothly
