Tutor in the areas of Math (all levels), Statistics, Writing, Science (Chemistry, Biology, Anatomy, Physics), 1000 and 2000 level General Education.
Provide individual and small group tutoring to students. Assist students in improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to identify learning challenges and improving study skills.
Other assistance may include: reviewing class material, discussing the text, preparing for tests, formulating ideas for papers, and working on solutions to help improve academic skills and abilities.
Tutoring is a supplement to classroom teaching.
Assists students in understanding class material. Proof and Edit papers.
High School Diploma, or equivalency; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are required. Must be upper classman status – sophomore or above.
The incumbent will be required to pass a Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Background check
