PIONEERTHEATRECOMPANY, Utah’s professional regional theatre in residence at University of Utah has an opening on our staff for a motivated, skilled scenic carpenter. Applicant will have 2 years of professional experience in carpentry, rigging, welding, sculpture and scenic painting. Must be able to read and build from blueprints and renderings.
Builds stage scenery employing carpentry, welding, rigging, plastic fabrication, foam carving and fabric construction skills.
Climbs ladders, moves heavy scenery pieces, and works with a wide variety of power tools. Supervises student assistants in apprentice positions.
