This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and following through with details for events, conferences, educational seminars or receptions. This position will coordinate the design and development of event materials and will coordinate activities pertaining to the event.
This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.
Coordinates arrangements for the event such as scheduling, catering, creating advertising materials, transportation, ordering event supplies, and equipment.
Assists with construction, installation, and maintenance of exhibits and displays.
Designs and produces graphics, specific promotional and print oriented materials, scenery, educational materials, and miscellaneous materials.
Assists in evaluating program effectiveness and making adjustments for future events.
Operates equipment including projectors, cameras, and computers and also troubleshoots audio visual equipment and/or seeks assistance for technical support.
Maintains files, records, and computer database on event details and participants.
Maintains a cost analysis report for each event.
May participate in the preparation of accreditation reports and reviews.

Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.
Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills.
Ability to troubleshoot basic problems in audio visual equipment and computer or software setup.
Ability to visualize and execute concepts and ideas into descriptive visual materials in varying formats.
Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills.
- Associate’s degree in a related field, or equivalency.
Prior experience working with adapted recreation for SCI and other patient populaitons is requred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalency.
