Customer service position in the Red Zone Campus Store; assisting in sales, cashing, stock work, and displaying of insignia merchandise, gifts, etc.

This position is responsible for providing legendary customer service to each customer who enters the department. This position assists customers, both in the store and on the phone, in finding the items they are looking for and in suggesting alternative products when the requested merchandise is unavailable. Assisting the floor supervisor to fully stock merchandise on the sales floor in a timely manner, and to maintain the sales floor, by keeping it clean and orderly. Works with the Red Zone Campus Store manager and buyer to ensure that stock levels are adequate at all times, by relaying information about items which have levels that are low or out of stock.

Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), sitting.
Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead, lifting (up to 50 pounds).
This is an entry-level position. Training will be provided. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills and the ability to pass a security clearance is required. Some positions require a minimum of six months cashiering experience.
Self-motivated individual who takes initiative to complete projects and assignments with minimal supervision. Excellent inter-personal skills ability to work well with the public. Basic knowledge of computers and cash registers preferred.
