Job Summary

Part-time position work approximately 15-20 hours weekly in the Utah Red Zone Store Sandy, which specializes in retail sales of University of Utah insignia merchandise.

This store is located at 10497 S State Street, Sandy Utah.

This position is responsible for providing legendary customer service to each customer who enters the department. This position assists customers, both in the store and on the phone, in finding the items they are looking for and in suggesting alternative products when the requested merchandise is unavailable. This position works to fully stock merchandise on the sales floor in a timely manner, and to maintain the sales floor, by keeping it clean and orderly.

Nearly Continuously: Office environment.

Nearly Continuously: walking, hearing, listening, talking.

Often: Repetitive hand motion (such as typing), sitting.

Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead, lifting (up to 50 pounds).

Minimum Qualifications

This is an entry-level position. Training will be provided. Demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills and the ability to pass a security clearance is required. Some positions require a minimum of six months cashiering experience.


Some retail and cashiering experience preferred. Primary duties to include are cashiering and customer service, assisting with stock keeping and merchandising of all product.
