Job Summary

Assists with the implementation of community engagement services, activities, and projects.

Some travel to events may be required. Must be able to lift/carry 40 lbs.


Assist with community engagement events and local film screenings. This includes:

•Assisting in planning and project implementation

•Creating invitation lists, event reports, and tracking information

•Coordinating with community partners

•Prepping supplies for events

•Helping with event setup and tear-down

•Engaging with event attendees

•Coordinating with otherKUEDdepartments on relevant projects

•Other duties as assigned

ManagesKUEDCommunity Billboard Calendar. This includes:

•Organizing community calendar requests

•Drafting weekly community calendar announcements

CONTACTProduction Assistant. This includes:

•Coordinating and producing interview program in supervisor’s absence

Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education) required. Two years of related experience, ability to use logic and reasoning to prioritize tasks, expertise using MS Office software, and demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required. Database experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree in a related field may be preferred.
