University of Utah Health Operations Project Administrator in SALT LAKE CITY, Utah

This position oversees and is responsible for all standard project management processes & procedures for an assigned project; including but not limited to the planning, executing, monitoring and close out tasks. The incumbent provides administrative project leadership and support to the assigned project team and senior stakeholders. Projects assigned will be directly relating to operational billing practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides direction and support to the project team.

  • Leads project planning and plan implementation.

  • Facilitates the development and usage of standard project management principals and documentation, which could include project definition, scope, goals, communication, risk mitigation and deliverable plans.

  • Performs appropriate project closure processes to include evaluation and documentation of project successes, assessment of results and lessons learned.

  • Ensures all defined project management expectations are upheld.

  • Responsible for project stakeholder satisfaction scores relating to assigned projects.

  • Responsible to achieve defined project goals and deliverables.

  • Continuously monitors and reports on project deliverables and quality achievements to all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field, or equivalency.

  • Four years of progressively more responsible health care related experience.

Qualifications (Preferred):

Preferred

  • 3-5 years of experience in Hospital & Professional Billing

  • General knowledge of Self-pay Business Office workflows and functions, including collection processes

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio

  • General knowledge of contact center key performance indicators (KPI)

  • Strong communication skills

  • PMP Certification (Project Management Professional Certification)

  • Master’s degree in a related field
