Job Summary

Provides office support in Continuing Education and Community Engagement’s Professional Education office performing complex office duties that requires independent thinking and problem-solving, working with customers to help them meet their professional development goals, and compiling course materials for students.

Responsibilities

1.Assembles Course Materials for students.

2.Assists with marketing, social media, and email campaigns.

3.Enters leads intoCRMdatabase and informs outreach staff about “hot” leads.

4.Helps clean up and merge marketing lists as acquired.

5.Assists with outreach/sales efforts for certificate programs and courses.

6.Assists with writing course descriptions.

7.Assists with obtaining GI Bill approval for programs.

8.Maintains wait lists for classes with full enrollment.

9.Assists with documenting course evaluations.

10.Assists with data entry in support of course scheduling processes.

11.Completes standard office duties such as emailing, photocopying (including instructors’ course materials/binders) and filing.

12.Creates certificates for students completing programs.

13.Assists with organizing and archiving documents and materials.

14.May have to periodically attend Education Fairs on behalf of ProEd and may need to deliver flyers and marketing packets to community.

15.Assists with other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
