UHEAA’s Outreach team spearhead’s Utah’sFAFSA(Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Completion initiatives, organizing and facilitating events throughout the state. The team is seeking two qualified students interested in gaining experience with community relations, outreach, and/or financial aid work in a fast-paced environment.
-Assist Outreach team with office tasks
-Assist withFAFSACompletion Night events (these public events take place in the evenings at high schools)
-Preparation and marketing
-Participate in video production
-Update customer relationship management database
-Collect student directories from school districts
-Prepare Memorandums of Understanding for events
-Ensure all internal and public-facing event calendars are synchronized
-Occasional outside the office and outside of standard business hours may be required, schedule permitting
High school diploma or equivalency required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.

-Knowledge of federal student aid or the financial aid process preferred
-Preferably a junior or senior in college
-Strong written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills
-Comfortable interacting with the public
-Organized and reliable
-Experienced with social media
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
-High Degree of Professionalism
-Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
