Job Summary

The Resiliency Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Program Manager. The Resiliency Center is designed to enhance resilience and coordinate wellness efforts among all faculty and staff within University of Utah Health. The Resiliency Center is currently focusing efforts on creating and strengthening three programmatic pillars, which include faculty/ staff wellness initiatives, peer support, and communication skills. The Program Manager will work with the Resiliency Center team and faculty leads in all three pillar areas to coordinate classes, projects and trainings, and the peer support infrastructure.

Responsibilities

•Serve as ambassador for the Resiliency Center

•Assist with development, implementation and maintenance of Resiliency Center programming

•Assist with coordinating, advertising and tracking participation at all classes, trainings and events

•Assist with establishing and coordinating peer support and adverse event protocols

•Assist with other data collection related to the Resiliency Center

•Schedule, coordinate and record Resiliency Center meetings

•Manage Resiliency Center website and e-mail and phone inquiries

•Assist with annual budget development and management, including making and tracking purchases

•Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus two years of related experience or equivalency. Demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.

Preferences

•Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communication or human resources

•Experience working in healthcare, an academic setting, or a similar environment

•Demonstrated knowledge of resilience and wellness concepts

•Ability to effectively use MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.

•Ability to work independently, manage time and prioritize multiple tasks.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain working relationships with a variety of individuals, which include faculty and staff, and professionals from other institutions and professional associations.

•Highly developed sense of empathy and humor
