Job Summary

Utah Campus Compact needs a detail oriented and skilled multi-tasker to serve as a Program and Events Assistant to maintain essential records and process financial and administrative documents. Utah Campus Compact is a coalition of Utah’s college and university presidents and their campuses. It provides leadership to strengthen service-learning, co-curricular service, community-based research, and other civic engagement initiatives statewide. Utah Campus Compact serves both private and public higher education institutions by researching and promoting best practices, providing networking opportunities, convening stakeholders, and offering training and other resources that help institutions advance civic engagement on their campuses.

Our office is located in the State Board of Regents Building at the Gateway. This position offers a free parking pass to the Gateway, a good team environment, leadership development, and opportunities for you to challenge yourself. You will be an integral part of an organization that is improving Utah’s communities through student service!

Responsibilities

•Processing payment requests, purchase orders, journal entries, and deposits

•Making travel arrangements, as well as processing travel reimbursements

•Assisting in office organization, including maintaining storage space and filing

•Assisting the Executive Director with administrative tasks when needed

•Updating the Utah Campus Compact website (using Drupal) and sending out a bi-weekly newsletter (using MailChimp)

•Maintaining contact lists for all Utah Campus Compact constituents

•Updating the Campus Compact database

•Preparing and sending out mailings

•Assisting with event planning and coordination at Utah Campus Compact events

•Other duties as assigned
