Assisting Building Manager on variety of projects and maintenance duty around the building.
1) Complete daily/weekly check lists
2) Performs routine maintenance including minor carpentry
3) Paint walls, doors, and other exposed surfaces as necessary
4) Follows supervisor’s instructions to ensure work orders are completed timely
5) Rearrange furniture around the building
6) Assists in maintaining tools and equipment
Six months clerical or customer service experience required; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills are also required.
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
Demonstrate a knowledge of general maintenance and related tools. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work from a step ladder. Show effective communication and human relation skills. Must be self motivated. Must be able to work the same schedule for summer and fall semester.
Special Instructions Summary
Must be a current University of Utah student enrolled in 6 undergraduate credit hours or 5 graduate credit hours.
