Job Summary

This is an entry level part-time and non-benefited laborer position for University Surplus and Salvage.

Responsibilities

Assist in the pickup, delivery, processing, shelving and recycling of surplus university property. Assist in the maintenance of the surplus warehouse, the surplus yard and in other duties assigned by storekeepers, and/or management. Requires the frequent loading and unloading of trucks. The disassembly of electronics and other equipment may be required. Driving of trucks and a pickup truck will be required. Trucks do not require aCDL.

Minimum Qualifications

A driver’s license is required. Must be 18 years of age.

This is an entry level position requires the frequent ability to move 100 lbs. This position requires the successful completion of a criminal background check and/or drug screen. Driving record is monitored by the State of Utah.
