Performs behavioral observation procedures in a research laboratory
1. Completes daily observations of students and teachers through videoconferencing
2. Attends weekly lab meeting on Mondays at 9 am
3. Responds quickly to lab members re: research
4. Uploads observation data on Excel daily
5. Files and maintain research records and logs of research data.
The incumbent follows well-established laboratory procedures to complete work. Sensitive or unusual situations are referred to the supervisor. Work is performed under the close supervision of senior laboratory personnel. Work is frequently reviewed for accuracy and to ensure adherence to research protocols.

This is an entry level position and on the job training is provided. The ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions; the ability to keep accurate records; and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required.
A general knowledge of primary educational settings is beneficial (i.e., elementary schools) and an interest in psychology; the ability follow directions, comfort using technology (e.g., telepresence robots, videoconferencing), sustain attention for 15-30 minutes, and respond effectively to feedback is critical
