The University of Utah seeks an Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant cardiologist to join a dynamic section of Heart Failure, Transplant, and Mechanical Circulatory Assist in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. The candidate should have an interest in an academic career including teaching, clinical care, research and other scholarly activities. Applicants must possess a M.D., beABIMboard certified, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure/Transplant, and must be eligible for a medical licensure in the state of Utah. Rank and Track will be commensurate with qualifications. Recruitment is ongoing until a suitable candidate is identified or the search is closed.

We provide medical and surgical treatments for the full spectrum of heart failure continuum, including pharmacotherapy, temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation. This is complemented by an established comprehensive basic, translational and clinical research program in advanced heart disease.
