Coordinates marketing and communications to maximize exposure, awareness and event traffic, and ensure effective internal and external communications for the College of Fine Arts.
1.Manage calendar listings for all College of Fine Arts (CFA) events including community calendars, the University’s online calendar, and places that pull calendar feeds
2.AttendCFAevents to conduct social media including photos, live video, conducting interviews and assisting with student take-overs
3.Work with the University Ucard office to ensure allCFAevents are entered into the Ucard scanning database
4.Track student attendance at University arts events
5.SupportCFACommunications Team in managingCFAand University of Utah Arts social media accounts
6.Track social media engagement and growth
7.Create and distributeCFAmonthly eNewsletter, “The Creative Brief”
8.SupportCFACommunications Team with other duties as needed

Seldom: Bending, reaching overhead.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related area, or equivalency (2 years related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education). One year of related experience and demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills required. Experience in accounts payable and receivable; and knowledge in all phases of production, such as types of paper, typesetting, printing, design, direct mail, and advertising concepts may be preferred.
Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
•Two+ years of experience
•Work experience or educational background in the arts
•Strong proficiency with and interest in social media for business
•Strong attention to detail
•Video/photo/graphic design experience a plus
