Oversees and coordinates a variety of departmental academic and student programs, which may include budgeting and/or complex program or record keeping responsibilities under the direction of a department chair, or administrator.
•Schedule all Professional Education open enrollment courses and certificates
•Serve as primary point of contact for instructor communication
•Follow-up on instructorFERPAtraining status
•Develop instructor contracts
•Process instructor payroll
•Process instructor travel
•Purchase books for classes as necessary
•Assist with classroom setup as necessary
•Assist with developing client contracts for custom courses
•Assist with custom course logistics as necessary
•Manage course evaluations
•Assist with open enrollment course grading as necessary
•Perform other duties as assigned

Four years of administrative and/or secretarial experience, preferably in an academic setting, or equivalency; the ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail; demonstrated human relations, communication and organizational skills; and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required. Accounting skills may also be required by some departments.
