Job Summary

The applicant must be a currently enrolled University of Utah student with an accepted Work-Study Financial Aid award for the current year. Work-Study award status may be viewed throughCISon the Financial Aid Status page.

Provides assistance to advisors and office team with outreach efforts to support upcoming events and activities. This may include putting together flyers, recruitment materials, college swag, etc. This position may assist with the reception area, and office needs when appropriate. May do visits to local schools and community organizations and assist in the organization of campus tours and visits.

Problem Solving

This position must make time management decisions that ensure all duties are completed in a time effective manner.

Responsibilities

1. Assist with outreach and recruitment events in assembling necessary materials.

2. Assist with planning tours and events from primarily youth and community groups.

3. Assists with front-desk coverage and routes incoming phone calls to the office.

4. Assist with filing and general office assistance with needed.

Minimum Qualifications

One year of general office experience, or equivalency; effective communication skills, and a commitment to provide excellent customer service required.
