This position is a 3 month internship. Applicants should expect to work a regular schedule Monday through Friday for the 3 month internship.

The internship is designed to give a student exposure to essential business operations functions within a healthcare organization. This learning opportunity is intended to refine the individual’s analytical, consultative, decision-making, interpersonal and managerial skills through project work while providing broad exposure to organizational initiatives within the hospital. This is a 3 month paid internship experience. This position is not responsible for providing care to patients.


  • Participates and leads ongoing planning and execution of internship projects.

  • Obtains, analyzes, synthesizes and interprets industry and institutional data.

  • Performs independent analysis of industry models to synthesize and recommend best practice.

  • May prepare and deliver presentations.

  • Presents, communicates and disseminates findings.

  • Maintains a current knowledge of emerging healthcare challenges facing hospitals and healthcare systems nationally.

  • Current enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in business, leadership, or a related field, or equivalency.

Job Summary

  • Creates visual designs and templates using sophisticated computer equipment and software programs. Aids in achieving clear, easy to understand visualizations for distribution. Helps create and implement a standard template of use across reporting and visualization tools.

Familiar With

  • Adobe Suite, PowerPoint, and Publisher.

Essential Functions

  • Create graphics and design layouts for various analytics and reporting tools.

  • Develop reusable templates in various reporting tools.

  • Develop and Implement a universal look, feel, and color scheme so all content looks uniform and similarly branded.

  • Incorporate best practices in website design and layout, and adapt designs for mobile formats.

  • Completes pre-publish check by ensuring colors and saturation are exact, images are clear and approved, and any links are functioning.

  • Researches and studies ideas related to each project; conceptualizes original work to communicate intent of project.

  • Interprets and transforms raw concepts and ideas developed by other personnel into descriptivie visual materials in varying formats.


  • Experince in Graphic Design.

  • Bachelor's degree or pursuit of degree in Graphic Design or related field.
