Responsibilities

Job Duties

Teaching contract requires:

Read theELImission and curriculum, prepare class syllabus according to the provided syllabi template.

Read and follow the guidelines outlined in the providedELIFaculty Handbook.

Teach your class assignment according to the scheduled time and in the assigned classroom. Any changes must be approved by the Director.

Attend oneELImeeting and participate in twoELIsponsored activities (8 hours total, per session).

Keep student attendance and report attendance to the office weekly.

Record class grades in theELIIntranet system weekly.

Record your class final grades in the University E-Grading system before the scheduled deadlines.

In the event of an absence you will be responsible to arrange for a substitute in a timely manner and notify the Director.

Maintain communication with theELIoffice and check mailbox on a weekly basis and e-mails daily.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s inTESOLor in a related field with aTESOLCertificate and teaching experience required.

Incumbent will be self-motivated, responsible, able to work individually and as a member of team, and will have the ability to communicate effectively with people from a variety of cultures and countries.
