Provides an educational experience to assist students in their preparation for theGRERevised General Test. The course is offered by the University of Utah Test Preparation Program through Continuing Education.

The course is intended to maximize the potential of students to do their best on theGRE
The three main course objectives are to:
1. Increase test sophistication
2. Increase skills in the context areas tested by theGRE
a) Verbal Reasoning
b) Quantitative Reasoning
c) Analytical Writing
3. Develop the appropriate psychological attitude necessary to perform at one’s best on theGRE
All instructional materials will be supplied
Instructors are contracted prior to the beginning of each semester for the classes they will teach during semester
Instructors must be self-motivated with a passion for teaching and the ability to explain things clearly and precisely. Strong test-taking skills and a minimum 90th percentile score on theGRE. A Bachelor’s degree and previous teaching experience is required. Advanced degree preferred. Reliable with excellent public speaking and communication skills. Evening and weekend availability required.
